Reflections: Sunday School "First Class"
On May 28th, the Sunday School creative collective hosted their first gallery exhibition here at the Margin of Eras Gallery.
Black Boys Forever — a solo show by James Yeboah, opening June 7th
The MOEG invites you to join us for “Black Boys Forever”, a solo exhibition by James Yeboah. The second part of his Black Boys series, James seeks examine and reimagine the notion of black male solidarity. “Black Boys Forever” opens June 7th from 6-10pm, and runs from June 7th-23rd, 2018 at the Margin of Eras Gallery.
The Sandbox Sessions: A Monthly Writing Drop-In at the MOEG!
The MOEG presents “Sandbox Sessions”: A monthly drop-in workshop for writers who live & work on the margins, and facilitated by Whitney French, with mentors, Sheniz Janmohamed and Cherie Dimaline.
Out Of Many, One People — a solo show by Brianna Roye, opening May 3rd
The MOEG invites you to join us on Thursday, May 3rd for "Out of Many, One People", a solo photography exhibit by Brianna Roye. An accomplished portrait & event photographer, Roye has captured a series of photos that people who are of Caribbean descent can relate to—and perhaps see themselves in. We invite you to join us for this examination (and celebration) of what it means to be queer & Caribbean.
"The Architecture of Care" Walking Tour on April 7th
Join the exhibiting artists and YTB team on Saturday, April 7th for a walking tour + artist/curator talk through Parkdale to each of the featured galleries (FAG, The Public and The MOEG), as well as other locations marked on the maps by Kristina Guison & Tzazná MIranda Leal—whose work is currently featured here at the MOEG!
"The Architecture of Care", opening March 22nd
Opening March 22nd, The Architecture of Care will host artworks addressing the role of place-making, the influence of the environment on identity, and how people make Parkdale their home.

The MOEG Presents: Habitat — A Deeper Look
On February 22nd and March 8th, the Margin Of Eras Gallery opens its doors to four musicians, each of whom has built a fully immersive original installation. Their goal is to provide you with a deeper look into their complete habitat of inspiration and vulnerability.
Hosted at the MOEG: 3D Printing & Modelling Workshop with Andre Baynes
Come by the MOEG on Saturday, February 3rd for an introduction to 3D printing and 3D modelling, facilitated by designer Andre Baynes and presented by Xpace Cultural Centre! In this workshop, participants will learn how to turn concepts into computer models for 3D printing.
Reflections: The Launch of the Margin of Eras Gallery
We launched on November 24th, 2017 with the first in our two-part series of launch shows, and it was truly a night to remember. That evening, CUE's bi-annual Margin of Eras show (featuring the work of CUE grantees) found a home at the Margin of Eras Gallery.

CUE Presents: The Margin of Eras Gallery
CUE is excited to present to the community the Margin of Eras Gallery—a multidisciplinary arts space dedicated to showcasing the work of new generation artists who live and work on the margins. Our first show features a selection of art projects in multiple disciplines funded by CUE over the past year, with a special performance by Nigel Edwards.
